It's a Web Development Giveaway!

*NOTE* PLEASE SEE THIS UPDATED POST BEFORE ENTERING.

Web development can be expensive. That is why I am giving away $1,000 in web development and/or graphic design credit to one lucky individual, company or organization this Christmas. You can nominate yourself or someone you know but I really want this to go to someone who needs it but otherwise could not afford it for whatever reason.

The credit can be used for any web development or graphic design service that I provide including print work, custom PHP development and more. (see full list of services here)

To enter yourself or nominate someone you know please send a few paragraphs introducing yourself and tell me how you would use the credit to start up, expand or improve your business or project website.

The winner will be announced December 19th.

Contact me to enter.

Poor Uncle December 02, 2011
Poor Uncle can use some freebie.

I'd like to build a review/recommend/directory website around the domain name, GoodHospices.com. As the name implied, I am only interested in listing "good" hospices with recommendations. So, some sort of sophisticated rating system is needed. The listing need to be geographically based. Someone living in Los Angeles looking for a good hospice in the area can quickly drill down to California->Los Angeles...and see all the recommended hospices listed for that city. And, it should be able to be sorted by highest rated, lowest rated, most reviews, etc. within a given city or geographic area.

Not looking to monetize by getting hospice to claim its listing...so no bells and whistles of that sort is needed.

This website is strictly trying to help people find a "good" hospice in their local area based on recommendations by others in the area.

If this is beyond the scope of the contest...but you know of a good out of the box solution for what I am trying to accomplish, please let me know I will be greatly appreciate it.

Well this may have just come in time. I myself have a 9-5 job that does 10 hour shifts. This helps with the mortgage basically. I also try to sell domains if possible to help with other bills

What I do want to do and just launched in fact last week is SEO services. I know SEO and can help other small businesses including my wifes business. Thats where this $1000 contest could help.

Point is my wife is also a web designer..that is when she can work on sites. She is a disabled navy vet and has Lupus. From time to time the Lupus takes over and when it does she is basically bed ridden (resting but cant work) so then any website job she took has to be refunded since the job was not done in time.

So with that it really leaves us with just my income. Im trying to of course make it better but really would LOVE to try and get my SEO services to take off. One way I would use the money if selected is for print work to send out to local businesses and get my name out there.

Actually I would love to let someone I know have this but beign at this point in time needing to get my own family back on track I nominate myself

Thank you
