Ever get the feeling that the domaining industry is becoming one big public infomercial on the front end lately? Owen Frager said it best: "Summing up the news used to be called aggregators but today the aggregators, like real news, are nothing more then purveyors of paid poop. That's because when one accepts advertising, when one accepts free trips or free domains... it's impossible to be objective." I'm not knocking people who accept advertising to help pay for their blogs/sites. Not at all. I am referring to blog posts that appear like credible opinions from the author but are not. I am referring to domain services with less than credible backgrounds and the people who pimp them for a quick buck. ShamWOW!

This is a widespread practice of Internet Marketers who use their big-dog friends/fellow Internet marketers to promote below-standard ebooks to their respective huge mailing lists.
The ebooks then get a lot of sales and as such becomes an overnight success.
I have seen this sort of thing going on in the domain industry for quite some time now. Nothing wrong with playing a few tricks to get traffic and sales.
But when people find out that they have been deceived and played, it may take forever to earn their trust again.
Provide quality products and services and they should sell themselves. The funny thing is that sometimes these domain bloggers and aggregators isolate others and in doing so, lose a lot of business from people who may think that the bias was unnecessary and unjustified.
