By default, Firefox Thunderbird will forward email as attachments with the .eml extension. This hasn't been a problem for me until today when the recipient's email server blocked by email due to the attachment. There is a way to switch to inline forwarding, however, Thunderbird has made it a bit difficult for average users. Here's how to turn the default and switch to inline forwarding: In Thunderbird select: Tools >Options >Advanced > General > Config Editor The "Config Editor" will be a button on the right side bottom under the "General" sub-tab of "Advanced". The Config Editor looks like this:
Type "forward" into the input box until you get an option that looks like this:
Double click on the row and change the value from "0" to "2"
And that's it. Your emails will now forward as inline and not attachments in Thunderbird. |

In December, I held an auction for Linda Bauman to contribute towards her recieving proper care. Along with other individual efforts, Linda was able to be moved to FINR (Florida Institute for Neurological Rehabilitation). Unfortunately, Linda showed no signs of improvement. On April 18th, Hospice took over the care of Linda and she was taken off her feeding tube. It is now predicted that Linda will not survive the weekend. Her husband, Les, takes her on a sailboat everyday at 11:00 am during her last days. Even though I don't know them, I can feel the love he has for Linda all the way over here. I've been following this since day one. I've been praying for them and they need your prayers too. It seems this would be the way she wanted it; sailing in the ocean with her husband. Who knew that a force more expensive than money, stronger than love and darker than a coma would take Linda. God bless Linda and Les Bauman. |

AtlantaLoans.com has re-launched with a new look and feel. The content is provided by a relationship with the popular site OpenList.com which is owned and operated by Marchex.com (MCHX). Using the OpenList.com technology the site offers a full range of service providers. The site allows a consumer to easily segment services by product type, neighborhood and even by ratings. Ratings are created when consumers enter comments and a “Like or Don’t Like” rating via the website. Businesses can easily add their listing and are encouraged to ask clients to provide ratings. “AtlantaLoans.com allows Atlanta residents, people relocating to Atlanta and others that need to find Atlanta financial service providers quickly and easily” said AJ Martin, the founder of Cityloans LLC network which includes AtlantaLoans.com. “We looked at every potential content partner and found the OpenList platform to be the hands down winner in the local space”. “We are excited to be working with OpenList.com and look forward to rolling out many more cities very soon” added Martin. Those cities will include TampaLoans.com, BostonLoans.com, MiamiLoans.com, LosAngelesLoans.com, ChicagoLoans.com and NewYorkLoans.com. Using a simple, yet effective, domain naming strategy, the Cityloans LLC network of sites makes it easy to locate any of its local lending sites. Each site’s web address is simply the combination of a city name with the word “loans” and the .com domain extension. According to Martin, a domain name falls into one of four categories; brand name, non-sense name, personal name or generic search phrase name. Martin considers most generic domain names as search shortcuts to a site with a domain name that exactly matches a pre-defined keyword search phrase. Many generic search phrase names have content that anticipate the user’s needs and therefore create a faster more efficient way to locate meaningful content than using a blank box search. “Web users typically have a specific need. Many commerce based searches reveal that consumers need to locate a good/service, research good/service, find a specific answer or solve a specific problem. By directly navigating to Atlantaloans.com we anticipate the consumer is really just searching on the keyword phrase ‘Atlanta loans’ and we provide content that will likely meet that consumer’s specific need. It’s really conceptually that simple however the magic is in execution” said Martin. “Helping people find things they need quickly, cheaply and efficiently is, to me, the most important use of the internet”. “Our network of geo-generic domain names helps consumers find us very easily. It is then our job to then help them find local financial service providers. By creating a quick, efficient and free tool we add to the value of the internet and AtlantaLoans.com is a great example of how we add value.” AtlantaLoans.com is part of the Cityloans.com network. Based in Atlanta, GA the Cityloans.com network owns and operates over 700 local lending sites that cover the largest 700 cities in the United States. |
