Play Smaller Lotteries State lotteries offer big payouts but the odds are high. Go for smaller lotteries such as the $1 or $2 scratch off tickets. They have smaller payouts but the odds are much greater.
Check the Odds Before you decide which scratch off to play, buy a few and see which odds are best. The group pictured on the right has a winner 1 out of every 4.66. There's a good chance if you buy in bulk that at least one of those will turn out to be a winner.
Buy In Bulk Most people purchase one or two tickets at a time. Purchase twenty tickets on your first round. This increases your odds.
Don't Cash In It's tempting to cash in a ticket but most people make a mistake by cashing in. As long as your tickets are earning you cash and free tickets, keep exchanging them for more tickets. Obviously you want to keep the bigger payouts. But as long as the lottery is paying your way to purchase more tickets, use this to your advantage! Combine this with the tip below.
Purchase from the Same Batch Another mistake most people make is diversifying their purchases. When you buy one "Fast Money", "Cold Cash", "Freezing Cash", etc, you actually decrease your odds. Purchase in bulk from the same brand of lottery ticket. But it's not only important to purchase the same kind, you must purchase from the same spool. That's the key. When you win the first round, go back to the same store you purchased your tickets and buy from the same spool.
Let me know how you do!

Winning the lottery is obviously a little more than luck. This morning I racked in almost $50 in total winning and I'm still going. My eye is on that $3,000 prize. I've done this in the past but I cashed out before winning which was one of my mistakes. Here's how to beat the odds:
