The first .Mobi auction hosted by Sedo.com closed at $850,000 with bidders from 34 countries. The domains that went for auction were tagged "premium generics" by the company who oversees the .mobi extension: dotMobi. Among the domains were hosting.mobi closing at $101,000 and bank.mobi at $51,501. Another auction is scheduled for October 31st.
