Domainer's Etiquette 101 : Complete Your Sales
Saturday, 05 January 2008

As a domainer and working online, there are many unspoken rules. Breaking these rules won't land you in jail but pretty much ruin your reputation. One of those unspoken rules is Complete Your Sales! Whether you are the buyer or seller: do what you promised.

Luckily, I haven't had to face this issue much but I have had a recent run-in with an individual who let me down not once, but twice. Honestly, this guy should know better. I guess it's shame on me for being so trusting again.

Elliot tends to agree with how I feel on this issue, as do many others.  There is really no way to MAKE people keep their agreement over the internet besides costly legal action. Perhaps one of the pitfalls of working online.

That's very true. Word of mouth about bad buying/selling experiences travel fast, especially online. The many forums on the net are very good at spreading both good, and bad, words.
