Domain Brokers - Intro
Tuesday, 18 September 2007 16:10

Domain brokers are individuals or companies who sell domain names on the behalf of others. They should be experienced in their field, have many connections in the industry and maintain a good reputation. They are valuable because they can get your domain name in front of qualified buyers.

They make the negotiating process easier by negotiating for you. Basically, they do all your leg work. In return, they get a certain percent of the sale.

Domain brokers usually focus on higher end domains (single or two word generics, domains valued for five figures or more). However, you can explore the domain broker directory to see experienced brokers in the industry.
