Effective and Less Risky? Pay-Per-Performance SEO
Wednesday, 01 June 2011 22:17

We have grown immune to the spamfest of emails which claim to land you top position in search results. As the internet grows and more companies fight for eyeballs, people become more desperate to use any technique possible to obtain traffic. That is why SEO scam emails are so enticing and unfortunately people still fall victim to their false claims.

For awhile, the words "SEO professional" almost became a dirty word as the true professionals struggled to gain client trust and even then results could not be guaranteed risking the client's money and the professional's reputation.

The internet allows us to measure results (almost) in real time and today there is no excuse to involve so much risk when it comes to SEO. That is where pay-per-performance SEO comes in, a service already offered by some companies. The theme is the same: you don't pay unless you see results. Everyone bares the same level of risk and reward.

While it is debatable how effective and time-worthy overall SEO is in general, I believe there is less risk involved using performance based SEO versus hiring a professional, throwing your money to the wind and waiting to see what happens.

Startups & web properties with little to NO keywords data or metrics should be very careful getting into these types of arrangements. If you don't KNOW which keywords produce results, stay with traditional seo services.. it is cheaper.. That being said,

At SAAS Affiliates, our pay for performance seo model is built on a shared risk scenario with NO monthly fees & NO keyword minimums which is tailored to the idea of seo.

The ONLY TRUE win/win model of it's kind.
