Planking is the most recent internet craze that involves the player (or planker?) finding an original place to straighten out the body like a wooden plank. (some which lead to death). Mike Robertson has a few hilarious planking pictures on his facebook ( one with an escalator, his head traveling towards a cement pole with a poster of a toothless kid grinning at Mike’s oncoming fate ). Either that or he was partying too hard lately. Only he knows. ( We love these, Mike. Thanks for the laugh but we don’t want to lose you! )

I have mixed feelings about it. It seems like such a dumb fad but I cant stop looking at the pictures. I catch myself thinking about planking certain objects then I realize that I plank every night in my sleep.
How oddly interesting. I was so intrigued I had to read more about planking on Wikipedia. I already have a couple of great locations in mind…
You probably checked already, but Planking.com is owned by Alf Temme. I bet he would get more traffic out of the domain as a site for plankers worldwide to share their latest pics instead of the current flooring, window treatments and landscaping supplies links on there now. Has crazy ICanHazCheezburger potential!
