Here are tools and references not particular to domaining, however useful, that you may have overlooked.
Google Insights: Get access to Google data to compare keywords and find similar keywords people have used. Also reports on patterns through very handy graph data.
Google Mobile: Need to check how a page looks on a cell phone without connecting with a cell phone?
Google Notebook is handy for taking notes on any webpage you come across which you may need for new domain registrations.
Don’t want to pay a subscription to read blog posts?
Google Reader to the rescue.
The final Google tool: Google Trends shows you what people have searched for that particular day.
Psychic Whois has the most helpful whois data.
If you need a Web 2.0 color reference, Web 2.0 Colour Palette has it covered.
Wikirage is a trend resource you may have overlooked.
KeywordSpy is a fun, fun tool. It looks like a mash up of some sort but it takes data from Google Adwords and search engines to tell you what keywords you and your competitors get.
If you need to find content quickly, Docstoc can help. There are users willing to share their documents for free or low cost.
You can also use my slightly cheesy slightly useful domain tool that is for domaining.
If you ever needed a resource for a coupon affiliate provider, THEY DO EXIST! Yay.
